In theory I'd also say Europe... but in all the games I've played, Europe rarely won.

One thing could be to allow other players (allies, spectators or even new people on the server ?) to replace leavers.

Is it possible to reduce the alpha channel of explosions ? Because it's really annoying sometimes when you just can't find your units under all this chaos.

The N°1 is the best solution imho. Player automation wouldn't be fun at all. And yeah, CPUs seem to do very well during online games, especially Speed Defcon where they manage to get 750+ points. Maybe there could be an option "Do not replace leavers by CPU". Then the leaver's cities would...

I tried dual screen (i.e. setting the resolution to 2560*1024 in the config file) and the game wouldn't launch...

But I don't really care anymore, I play in windowed 1152*768 now and it's nice.
