I suppose a game in which you hada god-like perspective, but very limited influence over the contents of the game should be called a god-of-the-gaps sim?

Whether synchronous or otherwise, I'd still like to see to see multiplayer being a strong aspect.

My favourite games are all multiplayer, so I'd like to see that as being a prominent feature. Working with this, and the free form procedural world, I can see a few interesting ideas. The game could go down an MMO style route, and have several active cities, or even just one, that are rotated every ...

Putting DWs in formations takes away their best weapon over FWs: grenades.

Forgot Esc and Space. What about A to go back, D to go forward, and W and S to select menu options? (I think Fable used that?)

Idea: The military took over the original Darwinia project (research into warfare or something blah blah), thus "The Endless War", and the Doctor is trying to save the poor DWs through invading with FWs.

Obviously not the true background, but just a thought..

The phantom could have the ability to create crate drops, but the crates are always bad? So the phantom would drop a crate containing dark forest spawn (or something) onto an enemy spawn.

At the least, only placing one nest would make them much easy to destroy.
