Since i am rather nooby with steam does anyone know how to delete the patch if that fixes it ? You cannot remove patches from Steam games. It's the uni firewall blocking the ports, AFAIK proxies don't block ports. I was using "proxy" as a general term for a machine stuck inbetween you and the connection, which is what any firewalls will be running on :wink: For example our external internet access is via a Squid proxy. We ca...
