Absolutely, I'd be happy with any of these to play with.
I really like the idea of Prisoner Classifications, but I'm not sure how well this'd work without zoning, so I've picked zoning.

Thank you, Mas Tnega, I got bored after a while building cells and decidided massive holding cells were the way forward. Hopefully bunkbeds or shared cells will be with us soon. I'll have a play with the storage area and eating times, see what works. Good point Illanair regarding the solitary inmate...

Hungry Inmates, not enough meals

I currently have 56 inmates (max 20?!?) and according to the stats, hunger is the issue affecting most prisoners. I've taken a look during dinner time and there don't seem to be enough meals being produced although stock seems reasonable. I have 5 ovens, 4 fridges, 5 cooks, 3 serving tables and a ni...

Good point - I must remember to engage my brain a bit more and not expect my fingers to get it right.

HMP - A Survival Guide (on-line document)

May be of interest / inspiration? (HMP = Her Majesties Pleasure, i.e. UK prison) I've visited a couple of prisons with work and hope to never have to stay in one for any prolonged period - very bleak. Still, interesting reading if the worst comes to the worst and the reality of day-to-day life - for...

I'm with motoryogurt - certainly it'd be normal to lay pipes first of all and this'd be the cheapest option. All sorts of things happen retrospectively though either through snagging or changes of design, so allowing large pipes under walls but with a large cost implication would be my preference. T...

I don't mind it how it is now and think it makes sense - installing a large pipe once the wall is installed is hard work! The electricity is presumably at high level and can be installed at a later date. How about a system similar to the current 'building needs a door' indicator that appears when la...

[Suggestion] Architect Mode, or export option (Blueprints)

As mentioned on another thread this morning, faced with a blank plot of land, I didn't do very well on my first build. I ran up against issues such as not building rooms large enough, not thinking about water or electricity needs and generally ran out of space very quickly. To overcome these issues ...

[Suggestion] Room contexted Object Menu

I imagine the object list is only going to increase and although I'm fairly familiar where things are located, some rarer items take a bit more hunting down, especially as some of the icons are similar. I really don't want to limit creativity and prevent people placing anything they like anywhere th...

Cheers for these screenshots fellas, when first presented with a blank canvas, my mind went blank - there's a lot to think about first time round! As a resort, I took screengrabs of Chris' alpha map and tried to recreate some of the important areas before going wild on the rest. Once minimum sized c...
