I made a gateway.
I found out when clicking Contact at modlink.net though that he's no longer updating it, so how do I share it with the community?

VDPIN is numbered blocks instead of lights.
Don't know how or why, but ever since I redid my system, which is a new one with a 64 bit processor that required me to place a 64 bit OS on it which is why I had to redo my system, for some reason that FBI mod VDPIN thing shows blocks of numbers instead of lights. The numbers are 0-24 on blue boxes...

I basically did trial and error. I tried a couple files at a time and then sent the reply. If he said there were none yet then I deleted those knowing they weren't any of the ones. If he said he reduced my pay I knew one or more of the files was wrong. Took awhile and a lot of copying and deleting o...

Custom map graphics installation
I downloaded custom maps and the instructions say that all I have to do is copy the .tif files into my graphics folder and launch the game. I tried not only launching the game, but like with custom LANs, tried creating a new user and it still shows the default maps. I even tried extracting the graph...

I just tried the Rohitab Local Area Network and it had the .txt extension. I tried registering a new user and the game didn't crash this time. I then tried adding it to the Security one and unlike the Nintendo one it didn't cause the game to crash. For some reason using the Nintendo one as a .txt fi...

I copied every file that was there and then connected to the file server they need to be dumped into. This screen shot shows the double 0.dat files. As you can clearly see they have the same name, but are completely different file sizes. So are all the other files 1-9.

Double source codes
This is messed up. What exactly do you copy if the same system has duplicate source codes of different file sizes? I just ran into a system that had for example: Network-0.dat File size 12 Network-0.dat File size 9 Not to mention others like 1, 2, 3, etc. One stopped at file 8 and the other at 9. Al...
