this is great news!
I confess, somewhat controversially, that I rarely - if ever - can stomach sitting down to play games on PC and the chance to play Defcon on DS would be awesome.

As I stated in my own humble little review over at fragLANd , I took the server downtime on Friday night in good humour, as a practical demonstration of the popularity you folks have accrued over the last four years or so. My congratulations for bucking industry trends and doing something really uni...

Unfortunately for IV, I don't agree. And since I, the customer, matter... Digital purchasing and online transactions are the future. You can be suspicious of new technology as much as you like through bad experience. A purchase made without your consent is theft and it is the financial provider's r...

As I posted in my review over at fragLANd, it surprises me that a game that allows this level of configuration doesn't allow you to modify font sizes.
You can change everything else, why not that?

One of the DEFCON tunes is very reminiscent of Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings". It's not the same but it sounds like an homage.

I like this idea. It's nice to meet and read blogs of other people with converging games interests to yourself and myspace is a great place for this. It allows you to get to know other players in a way that forums posts don't. For instance, crowleyhammer is a big west ham fan .. I'm guessing :) sign...

indeed. and, thinking about it, if the FAQ is correct in its assertion that the linux version will be an .exe that works with the windows data files it is even more likely that OS parameters will be irrelevant. Theorectically you could have the windows exe and the linux exe side by side on your usb ...

Re: Question regarding Office mode
Heres a predicament. Do you think I will get told off for playing DEFCON at work? Most people would, but im an emergency planner for my local council. Do you think I could get away with saying its 'research' or a 'nessacery tool'? If so then hooray! I have a different problem. When playing up...

Legend has it that the Pope at the time determined Allegri's 'Miserere Mei, Deus' to be so holy that mere mortals could not listen to it. The original copy was locked away and it was only performed for the pope and his esteemed company. Legend also has it that Mozart heard it being performed and tr...
