Firstly, I haven't read all posts in this thread so apologies if I repeat something already said. I was just browsing through and the XNA mention caught my eye... Today I handed in my university dissertation, which was on the subject of evaluating new hardware intefaces within modern games (I'm hopi...

Pluggable AI would be a nice add-on for us potential modders with more coding skills than graphical ones

We could even play them off against eachother to see who can write the best defcon AI :D

I usually have ceasefire off, many times my 'allies' park thier subs near my coast, I like to get rid of them. They probably deserve it, but I'm surprised that they risk sending their subs near carriers that are in anti-sub mode (they should be able to see the anti-sub pings). I rarely sink ally su...

Ok, the general consensus appears to be that people don't consider this a bug, in which case I apologise for listing it as such (admittedly, I did do it mostly to guarantee that I would get some community feedback, even if it was only negative) However, I still believe that ceasefire possibility sho...

Bug: No ceasefire, if Defection is turned off

Not sure if this was intended or not, but it is not possible to change ceasefire status if AllowDefection is set to false. There are situations when I would like to give a player a ceasefire without allying (for stealth alliance purposes), & me and a few people at Defconmatch are playing with th...

I've been wanting this feature quite badly

How about shift-clicking causes empty bombers to be launched at the target? That way you could send your loaded bombers off to a target, and your empty bombers to restocking locations, at the same time

A good idea, but aircraft appear to be blissfully ignorant of their remaining fuel and so I'd rather that my aircraft land quickly and safely, than choose a faraway landing location but run out of fuel enroute. If you have Order view on, it's a lot easier to organise your bombers and make sure that ...

OK, so lets pretend for a second that silos and air defence were seperate. -Defcon one arrives. -Everyone launches everything in one go, since theres no risk in firing and don't want to wait for their silos to be hit by nukes. No point in waiting for a moment of weakness, since there isn't one with ...

Get to work IV.

I bet phrases like "Get to work IV." are just what they like to see from players

However, if you do fancy a ranking go to Defconmatch

- free downloadable musics inspired by Tolkien's world (I didn't find some) Although not directly inspired by Tolkien, there is loads of free ambient music floating around the web, it just depend on what mood you're trying to set. Try sites like em411 where online artists are trying to gain feedbac...

Very nice, can't wait to see extra bits added to it.

It's not a big issue, but could you add a mod.txt to the package, for use with the next patch?

Player colours in game styles

Just a minor thing, it would be nice if you could specific in the styles to use a percentage of the player's current game-colour for any of the style elements. I.e. I could set this value at 50% for all of the HUD elements, and then when I'm blue, the HUD has a nice blue tint, and so on. (This perce...

I thank you all for the great games. A pox on Maddie for his heinous treachery, and commiserations to Dan for being the victim of mine. :D I have no comfort food left in the house now, thanks to you  But seriously, it was a well pulled-off backstab, not quite sure how I lost 40m so easily.

Yeah, the spectator thing is a problem, I think the best why would be to prevent both a player and a spectator from the same ip address being in the same game. Both myself and my housemate would show up as the same IP address, since we're behind the same router; why shouldn't we be able to spec eac...
