Maybe you could use some of the content form the WarGames movie, like the simulation results for Global Thermonuclear War http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WarGames#WOPR_scenarios , or the gamelist from the WOPR games list, part of which can be seen here: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/a2/War...

Being an alpha tester and seeing that out of those 150 people chosen, like 30 different people max while palying, I think IV should give beta to the most active alphas first, since one could be pretty sure they`ll do their job.

Or to put it simpler - moving stairs. If you move with them, you go faster, if you move in the opposite dirrection, you have to move your legs faster then they move in order to get where you want to.

Is there any way to check if if you are a beta/alpha tester (besides getting the email saying that you are, that could`ve not arrived thanks to some email providers being rather, well, buggy to say the least)?

EDIT:

Yes, I also agree that some game series should`ve stayed 2D (MoO, Total War, but I`m sure some people would disagree), but if some smart people would sit down and think I`m sure they could make a 3D game like that, whithout destroying it. It could always be some sort of nuclear warfare of the future...

Well, then maybe those features should be optional, like in that old game Scorched Earth (the one with tanks shooting at eachother, same concept as Worms)? There you could choose wether, for example, wind would be present or not, what would be it`s limits and so forth. And yes, I agree that I don`t ...

They never made a sequel, but this doesn`t mean that they won`t make a sequel, no? After all, the company is still pretty new, and hopefully full of ideas for games, but in the future, who knows?

Some physics, geography and general ideas

I don`t know if it was mentioned before, but I thought of a few ways to make the game more realistic, or fair: -variable apperant speed of missiles on the map. After all, Earth is a globe, so turning it into a 2D map made some distances bigger then they normally are. To go around the globe at the eq...
