Anyone ever try running Linux uplink on OS X? I tried but don't see where it's installed, so not sure how to test that.

Any ideas?

I assume you guys will put your serial number system in besides having IV's keys for the metaserver?

Might be unrelated, but a while back I tried to update my ATI Radeon drivers and the result was choppy graphics and slow desktop. It was affecting pretty much everything. Turns out I had to update my BIOS for some changes to AGP.
Again, probably unrelated, but who knows.

I have a 2Ghz P4 and 768mb ram with a ATI Radeon 9600SE and the game works fine usually, just every once in a while, mostly in the main menu, it goes insanely slow and the CPU is up to 99%. Or you could just open the task manager, find defcon, stop it, and then install the patch.

When I leave a game lobby, get kicked, abort connecting to a game, it should go back to the server listing instead of the main menu.

That is fantastic. And quite do-able as well, I think. Another great idea we've had at IV for a total conversion would be to make Defcon into a space battle game. So cities become planets, Battleships become massive space ships, subs become cloaked vessels, airbases become space stations etc. How c...

Yeah those bugs were in the beta, too, along with the suggestion of having some notification of change in defcon level. Surely it will be in a patch.

Don't know if the speed change buttons are mentioned in the manual, but 1-5 should change the game speed.

Also, fighters destroying radar stations is them exploding right above one.

You can only place units in Defcon 5 and 4. Once it turns to Defcon 3, you cannot place any more and the panel disappears.
