Looking back at all the replies so far (including mine), we're all being real whiny bitches.

That's some awesome recognition you got for a world-respected publication. Awesome shite.

I don't think I've ever seen any developer get even most of their games on any top games lists. Not even Blizzard.

Holy @#$%ing congrats, Chris! Now tell us what Subversion is.

Just forget Uplink PPC ever existed. They canned the project when Chris realized it would never work properly.

Ah, I see. The old graphic is just not default.

All the same, the DEFCON-style map needs to be adjusted so that white boxes and text are legible on top of it. I mean, it is what people are using by default.

DEFCON-esque World Map

While this isn't a bug or a glitch, I do feel it hampers gameplay and needs to be fixed. After the release of DEFCON, I noticed the Uplink devs changed the World Map graphic to be like the one prominently featured in Introversion's newest game. I see why this was done, and it certainly looks cool. B...

Impressive as the graphics look for LBP, the premise seems like it's a bit of a rip off of the Garrysmod tbh. I'm not seeing a game, more a shared sandbox, which tend to have limited appeal in the long term save for aficionados. The only significant issue is that it's on the PS3 and it's a big move...

Chris, After reading every blog post, there is one thing I see your prototypes being used for that makes me giddy inside. Being a huge fan of 24, I've always wanted to play a com specialist in a game, uplinking into government satellites and finding building blue prints and overlaying the infrared i...

I had a dream last night that IV came out with a screensaver pack. It ran on Mac, Windows, and Linux, and was the most coolest screensaver pack ever. Then I woke up :( I'm aiming for the game design field, and if there's one thing I've learned so far it's that dreaming is just so damn awesome, and ...

Back on topic, I can't wait until you (Chris) spill on what sort of game we're looking at, here. From what I'm seeing, I'll venture to guess it's inter-corporate rivalry. Acquire your way to Sillicon Valley prosperity! Am...am I close?

And I agree, we need some screensavers.

From what the screenshots show, you guys are experimenting with an office setting. What cult film or novel are you drawing from now? Dare I name Office Space?

Seriously, though, I can't wait until you guys announce more details and tell us all vaguely what style of game we're looking at.

It's almost 2007, women can vote in the US and the UK, and we still feel that women holding cool jobs is a plausible improbability. I feel like crap.
