if the game decided how to manage your units all you'd do is push the button.

How's the fun? Put the game in a slower speed (1-2x) & tell your bombers where to land. it's easy.

i believe if you buy another SN, you can run another copy & logs in to a game twice, once as a spectator & once as a player. I've done player vs player on my comp but never tried spectator. Is that considered cheating or a "tactical advantage"? :)

old old old news. that could be done back in the Quake 1 days. :)

like said above, if you're that desperiate, why play? unless you want to kill the server before you loose even though you're cheating. :D

You make good points, but there's a small note you might be missing. Vista will run fine on a non-dx9 card, it just won't use the flashy Aero interface. Therefore it's recomended that you have a DX9 card for the best experence that's something I keep forgetting because, quite simply, Microsoft does...

didn't know it was legal (don't keep up 100% on windows releases). That's a good thing. :) i guess i was speaking to the "wrong" crowd. We all have DX9 cards, or will buy them for gaming. We know where to find them cheap. But majority of computers/people out there don't have one & don'...

RTM is out... legally? eigther way, Ms isn't exactly pushing the 64-bit advancement. Heck, I have BETTER 64-bit support in linux which MS touts as a reason to use Windows over Linux (better overall support-hardware, driver, etc). They should of just ditched the 32-bit version. Heck, they require a ...

you SURE Nvidia got FULL OGL in Vista? ~1/2 weeks ago someone get a GF 8800 & ended up taking i back because OGL would only run in 1.1 software emmulation in Vista, so he couldn't play most of his games. Tried every driver he could think of. but this is another reason to remind people: the Vista...

i belive there is a "glitch" where if you tell a plain to attack, then turn (or something to that effect) it will do a sharp turn.

but i always forget the turn radius when i launch fighters. :) Many have died needfully. :D

from the testing i did just now, they are ~the same radius. that's just sending them a little ways away & then recalling them though.

the turns radious is based on how fast the object moves. fighters move faster so they have a larger radius.
