Mizer, since my comp does not crash, is there any other way for me to send you a report of what is going on? I would be willing give someone access for the good of the community. Hi, This isn't really possible if you don't have a windows crash report, or a minidump log in the directory I mentioned....

I am using an ATI Radeon 9800 pro and have had no problems with it all the way through alpha/beta/full game. Don't forget that you may need to update your AGP drivers for your motherboard as well as your graphics card drivers. If any of you have any recent minidump logs (c:\windows\minidump) that we...

If it is a VIA/S3 (UniChrome?) integrated card then I've seen a couple other reports of the same thing happening - looks like it is just a poor chipset, haven't seen a fix for it.

The reason I suggested changing the affinity to use only one core is because in some circumstances programs that do not take advantage of two cores cause the performance to be poorer with 2 cpus selected than just 1.

Does it give a reason why you cannot delete it?

Check your taskmanager to see whether it is still running. If it is, kill it. Then you should be able to delete it. You could also try restarting your PC and then deleting it.

It tells you the failing module is winsflt.dll - as Steven said, it is a component of PureSight Internet Content Filter, and this is what is causing the crash. I have not tried these steps as I do not have the problem, but here is what is supposed to cure it: 1. Download and run: LSPFix.exe - http:/...

You can change it through the chat box at any time by using the /name command.

If you have a specific issue like this, it is really not a good idea to do a reinstall. You would have been better off concentrating on what you knew, that there was a problem with OpenGL and your graphics card. If using a driver cleaner and trying first an old version of the ATI drivers, then clean...

After the onset of Defcon 3 you can no longer place structures or fleets. It is not a bug, it is by design. It tells you it in the manual, and it tells you this in the tutorial. As for it being a rush, you can slow down time by utilising the time control at the top. Common practice is to slow the ga...

When you do the view technical data, you should get the location of the error reports. Browse to the directory, zip the files up, upload them somewhere and post the link here. From just looking at the code 0xc0000005, it is a memory access violation. It can be caused by a few things, including fault...

You mean, putting your computer into the DMZ.

And the answer is, yes, unless you have a decent software firewall on your PC you shouldn't do this except to test if the router is the cause of the problems.
