Nice to see a core gameplay finally being set. I wonder what will happen to the city generation part though.

Oh...that was a half-joke.

Hey, is the fact that I haven't bought Multiwinia, made me even worse than those who have pirated it? Not only I haven't bought you any money, but also because of that the game is less popular you can't sue me for it.

But isn't a bit...unethical to sell something that could be represented as data and replicated very easily?

I remember once having an idea to make RPG/RTS mess (having dozens of identical versatile characters) which would have been resource-based and almost every item would quickly break down or run out of ammo and to regain resources, that large party has to be transported constantly from one part to ano...

Hmmm...one step brings closer to another. Bet it's only a step from a full-scale testing of the sensor system! :)
And a few steps to the deformable buildings.

I WANTS. Hexagons + Turn-based warfare = Win. Like starfleet command scratching the space-sim itch, I'd like something to scratch the need for turn-based strategy games... the only game that came close was Missionforce: Cyberstorm back in the 90's. Hex grids and simple make the prospects even lovel...

Hmmm...reminds me a bit of Heroes - Might and Magic series. Who knows, maybe we could integrate this feature into Subversion but have street blocks instead of hexagons?

However, it may all run smoothly now it's in wireframe, but I shudder to think what the specifications will be once everything is textured and bump-mapped and modelled and so on. For the sake of my graphics card, I hope IV can code their way around that... But why won't stick to wireframe then? It ...

Finally we have the first interactive element in the engine. Well, at least you should be happy that in Subversion, you won't play as a mechanic whose job is to fix all the systems, sensors and other stuff before the time runs out. I wonder can actuators and sensors be emitters at the same ti...

Also, its awesome.

At the moment it's quite a complex toy or a prototype.
This article should help to understand about the stages of a project.

"The gameplay possibilities would certainly be endless!" I wonder, if modifying the engine, would it be possible to generate new content on one end and destroy that content on the other end of the map, thus generating an endless tape of content? Ah actually scratch that! We'll be seeing wh...

It's actually quite a nice idea! Rising water levels should be easy to make. I think those maps should be large though so it would have many important spots in many different heights which could be used as an advantage until they're flooded. Many of these maps would also have virii to guard importan...

You know, Tetris isn't the only game which gives an effect named by the game. Virtually any game can give you "(insert game name here)-effect". Your Multiwinia effect may last for a few days at least.

Hey, if there would be a spectator mode, then why not an option which is similar to retribution mode but for spectators who would take turns to release some of their weapons? Of course that would be optional.
