Or just Guy. Someone might notice a really poor November 5th reference going on. See I probably could have got away with Fawkes if not for the fact Fallout 3 got there before me. Bastards! As for the person's history, the reason I need a strong single word name is because the man is supposed to be ...

I should point out, like Helios, it is a one word callsign type name. Predictably I've already thought of Flint and Pheonix, plus I already have a character who is a psychotic con-man named Wright. Flint was a bit too tongue in cheek though surely.

Man makes self gratifying topic. Few reply.

World still in shock. Hello , I rarely pop my head round much these days except to check whether some bounder has released a subversion beta without my knowing or when I rather transparantly want something, sadly this is an occasion of the latter probably only of any interest to the obscure, the eru...

What book were/are you writing?

It's a bit like the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, except considerably less original and poorly written.

That and it's taking forever to rewrite....and this is only the 2nd draft!

I'd be interested to hear about the projects that you allude to, though, if it isn't prying. Sadly they are not porn sites or anything of any tangiable interest, nor are they still in existence anymore. It was just a clan website, which despite the fact that I was not even leader, I operated hosted...

To Promote a Website

To Promote A Website (A Lesson in existential marketing, probably) I don't know if you remember me, I used to hang around here before I started writing my book and slowing lost the will to live. But I digress. I've had a few website and various internet projects in my past, the majority of which I ...

On reflection that story isn't as short as I imagined it would be... To be honest I would have thought the first thing you'd have thought of was 'This space intentionally left blank'. Also my avatar is as it is because I enjoy the mental image of the word SATIRE flashing over my barely satirical po...

I think the court case and three years you spent in prison was fairly conclusive that she didn't.

No, he was constantly talking to his dead mother.

*waits for spoiler complaints*

Also monologuing sounds like a brilliant alpine pastime, presumably like luging except you only have one skate rail...or something.

It's like watching Norman Bates from Psycho.

I tried watching Evangelion (I had to scroll down and check the spelling of that thrice) once, I remember catsuits and that's about it.

I searched for the song that plays when Ed leaves ("Call Me, Call Me" by Steve Conte & Yoko Kanno) and started searching for more songs of Steve Conte. I discovered that "Living in the Shell" (the ending for GitS: SAC 2nd Gig), one of my favourite anime songs, also featured ...

The thing is though, I don't believe there was any intentional implication that our world was supposed to be evil or more horrific than a black hinterland full of demons, because if they wanted to depict horror they could have materialised him in the trenches or in a concentration camp. A dirigible ...

The origins of the homonculus are sort of explained, the vagurities of whether they have souls, whether they are actually the same consciousness as the former people is never really fully explained, it's intentionally left uncertain. The main problem I had with the series, which I have been dancing ...

Honestly I'd question how much you value literary techniques as well as your sanity if you think the ending was brilliant, I don't think it was even random enough to qualify as surreal. I mean they had all the vagurity and mystique of the homonculus, the realm they emerge from, their consciousness a...
