i noticed that if the officers order path goes over water that darwinains seem to ignore it. once the officer order path is on all land they suddenly obey the order

hehe, I almost ended up in the same boat as you. I was piddling around with the task manager in 1 of the earlier levels and noticed I could go up and down to find objectives and research. Had I not found this I would have done the same as u lol

haven't had any problema with steam for a while. ive used steam since version 1 when they released the CS 1.6 beta. it was buggy as hell but they have improved it a lot since then. i dont think ur VAC status should effect it, as that will just stop u from joining any VAC protected multiplayer server...
