Until this has been properly playtested it’s hard to properly assess the game’s potential. Just because you don't have access to them doesn't mean they haven't been tested. ;) Heh, very true! I imagine Introversion have got it covered. Still seemed like a slightly strange decision, though, given th...

DEFCON interview
Chris at Introversion was kind enough to let me interview him for the scifi/fantasy website SFFworld. His responses were very detailed and interesting, so I thought I'd post the link up here: http://www.sffworld.com/mul/212p0.html It's a good read for anybody interested in DEFCON/Introversion/indie ...

Indeed, while you might not have such a wide userbase as other mainstream games, you're pretty much guaranteed that those that do play your game will love it much more than the other mainstream games. Of course, ideally you want a game that is loved in a culty way, but which also sells in a big main...

New Darwinia interview at SFFworld
Hi guys, I thought you may be interested in an interview with Chris Delay that we just published at SFFworld.com. Chris had lots of very interesting things to say about the game: http://www.sffworld.com/mul/198p0.html I just want to thank Chris again, getting to ask him some interview questions was ...

Darwinia review at sffworld.com
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, or whether I should have emailed the team directly, but I thought they might like to know that I've recently written a review of Darwinia for sffworld.com, a fairly large scifi/fantasy website/community: http://www.sffworld.com/grevoff/76.html I ho...

Another "this game is astonishing" post (sorry)
I played the first demo way back when it was first released, and liked it a lot. For various reasons I don't quite recall, I didn't buy at the time, something I've always felt rather guilty about. As part of a small development team myself, I felt something of a duty to support Introversion. Then ca...

Right, now here's where it gets odd. I'd uninstalled the demo, so just reinstalled it to test it for you. I thought I'd first try altering the res settings manually in the prefs file. Did that, loaded up....and was fine. Then I tried switching back down to 1024x768. Switched fine. Went back to 1280x...

Odd system crash/reboot when changing screen res in demo2
Hi guys, I was sent over here from the Steam forums to report this odd problem I'm having with the demo. I imagine it's nicer round here anyway. :) Basically, in the demo (the one with the rocketship) whenever I go to the screen options and try to change the resolution from anything other than the d...
