Has anything changed...?

Hi to all that remember me.. probably not many, but you never know :) I've kinda disappeared from both these and the Dw forums, mainly due to those annoying things called schoolwork and uni work. I got an email through just today about the merge, so thought I might check back... on a very cursory gl...

Sorry Smeggy, but on this occasion I must disagree :D Your method may or may not work, but booting into safe mode most certainly does; I've finally got what I hope is a stable non-breaking-down XP install back, after three months of problem after problem. <Dives to touch wood as quickly as possible>

Actually, no. Trillian simply acts as one program allowing you to access the MSN, ICQ, AIM, Y!, and IRC chat networks, simultaneously; you can open one program rather than 5 standalones. I am not suggesting that others here haven't heard of it, simply that your description was a little inaccurate :P...

Plea for help: System Volume Information folder access

Hi guys, I'm afraid I haven't hung out here for aaages now, life got rather too busy a while back, added to which I've been suffering from a wide variety of PC issues over the last few months. Since I still recognise a few names here, hi to those of you that knew me at all :D Now, I hate to post an ...

Mas, you sound *far* *far* too much like you know a lot about this; a lot, as in, practical experience.

Please reassure me you don't do this for a living...

Oh I do so love stabbing a fork in my eye! I couldn't say which song, but it sounds vaguely like something I might have heard on a Pink Floyd CD...? That might just be because it's quite random. As for the actual ps I did, yes, I found a busted site and posted it, the right little troll that I am. ...

Shall I be really mean to busted fans?

As some/all of you may have heard, Busted are splitting up. If this saddens you, leave this thread immediately, or suffer severe discomfort. If, like me, you are rather/very/unbelieveably glad, have a look at this: http://stu.hemp-blog.com/random/finished.jpg Warning, BIG file ;-) Now, it's rather s...

Since we're getting into incidental information here, how about one for Matrix/history fans (if those are not mutually exclusive  ). The Merovingian in the Matrix was based on the legend of the Merovingians, who were supposedly an extended family/tribe/army that founded Paris and effectively c...

Especially since you're making their job quite a bit easier  Yeah, I'd happily submit stuff. I did AS spanish, Flamekebab, and I got a pretty good set of grammar-y notes off our teacher (she was wicked), so I could probably digitise them. I have kept loads of other stuff from various GCSE subj...

Iris, you have to bear in mind, you are a small island of femininity in a sea of men. As the saying goes, men speak in C, women in Java; *we* haven't got the necessary VM for understanding even simple statements made by you, so don't take it out on Darkshine too harshly for under-interpreting your o...
