[1.34] F12 - Quit or Crash to Desktop?
I've been reaching for backspace a couple times, and accidentally hit F12. The game closes immediately. Is F12 an exit key, or is this a bug?

I've always been amused by this one... Not so mucha hacking game so much as a set of static hacking challenges hosted on their server. Requires little to start, but some of the puzzles are ptretty tough...
Gentoo is pretty cool, but scary when it comes to installation. Grab Slackware or Fedora. (Or whatever else all the other Linux people on here are going to suggest sooner or later). Gentoo is just plain complicated. Crazy-good optimization, but the extra 12 hours for an extra 1% in performance never...

Hairpin means machines behind the NAT can communicate directly with each other without translation. Strange little bug on mine.. it switches between Dependent mapping and Independent Filter... not sure why yet. port issues, perhaps? Independent filter/Dependent mapping Does not preserve port number ...

You don't have to be online to learn things... you learn in real time. That means I can start an 8-hour learni...

Silly, unreasonable idea
I would be so amused if Chris put in an espionage option in Defcon where we could post jobs on an Uplink bbs to sabotage, misdirect, etc enemy nukes. :-p Crossovers are scary.

3D art isn't easy, and that's a good start. A little more variety in textures and increase the verticies to add more detail... It looked like a Bryce project, so creating detail is difficult, and new model shapes even more so. I'd like to see what he could do if he sopent a week working on a similar...

Haha.. reminds me of my roommate a few years back. He was kinda skittish, aned I shared a dorm room with him. I was playing Battlezone or something or other at the time.. real time text-based war strategy game. I had finally saved up enough cash in the game to manufacture my first nuke. I was all ex...

Or one of the cities between the launch point and the target. :-p If it's a nuclear payload, then heat shouldn't do anything, right? The amount of energy required to start a nuclear reaction... I would assume the laser would have t be powerful enough (and targetting) to completely disable the propul...
