Agito, Had another idea...perhaps you could set up a filter on the Nuker, where it doesn't delete connection open or connection close files from 127.0.0.1 because that sorta bugs the hell out of me? ;)  I don't know that you can actually be busted doing that...but I've heard it both ways. Also,...

Quote: from Miah Helpmann on 7:24 pm on Feb. 25, 2004[br]Well, if you're interested, I can help you learn C++.

I'm already teaching two people over the net.

Yeah, I would be interested. Perl is SIMILAR to C++ but different enough I know it'll drive me nuts.

I'm more than happy to buy the DevCD mostly so I can have it around and get to the Dev Forums...I may pick it up in the next month or two.

Hey guys, I'd like VERY much to join an upcoming or in-progress Mod Project. I don't know C (I've programmed in QBASIC, VB, and Perl) and am not big into programming...I can do it, but I don't like it. I'm a Network guy by trade. However, I'm also a GM/ST for various online RPGs and tabletop games, ...

Agito, I sent you email but...you either need to include in the readme that the LogNuke doesn't work on bank statements and advise people to keep LogDeleter 4 OR make it Nuke Bank Statements, or allow a switch to put it in "Single Log Mode" so you can delete just like using LDv4...I got ca...

When you connect to a LAN, treat it like any other system except: don't close your voiceprint until you're completely done working on the LAN. When you connect to the server and the Admin Alarm blares hit the voiceprint, and disable it, crack the password, if you're fast the active trace won't start...

I'd have to disagree with Arunmor being harder. I've managed to finish that path (and I enjoy it most) but I CANNOT win the last ARC mission no matter what I do...

The RevCore file HAS a purpose...it's not just "There" Here's a hint, if you're the only one holding it, and no one else at UL or the world knows about what ARCs doing, ARC will have to come to YOU won't they? Find a way to make that happen, and you've found an alternate path to the story....

On ModLink there's a patch that patches the 1.31 .exe file and automagically changes the IRC server to the correct one. Granted you can do it yourself but, the patch helps.

You mean the "debug.log" file I assume? Try creating the file yourself before you run the game. Or delete the log if it's there, and let the game recreate it...or do it yourself. It might help. Also check your UL directories for file permissions and stuff.

Ah....it's not really a bug, so much as it is wierd. Apparently you're supposed to reply to the mission BEFORE it shows up in the news, or it doesn't work properly. I just went and did the mission again, and it worked this time. Wierd.
