Terrible suggestion #mine:

Phlogan/Flogan

Eh, screw it. SOLVE The guide walks over to Jamal and takes a canteen of cool water out of one of the many packs. He takes a swig of it, then hands it to the fainting zjoere. Now prepared, he storms over to the wall to which the king's stony body is facing and pulls the MOON lever. He continues in a...

Careful, Lothur, we want to be able to reignite them later. Another failed idea: rearrange the letters of the sentence to from the words STAR(S), EARTH, etc. Unfortunately, there's three ways not to use any letter twice: 1. STARS 2. STAR STAR 3. STAR EARTH SUN And of course variants where you don't...

Objection: Which set is which? Good question; I have no idea to be honest. My instinct would be to start with the set on the wall where xkcd's statue is facing and go clockwise from there. It could be that the 3000 year old, English speaking king was clever enough to engineer something where the po...

Lastly, it seems to be the consensus that this puzzle must be much more simple than it appears. Ok then, thinking simpler. Obviously the words we decoded are deliberate, so we should be using those. 4 words, 4 sets of levers. 4 levers in each set, binary maximum of 15 (coincidentally the same appro...

Having spent a couple of days sulking in opposite corners of the room ignoring everything around them, Jamal and his owner witness the horrible death of two more scholars and decide that such a minor grudge is less important than their survival. They wander up to the statue, peeking at the work the...

Well erm, bugger. I guess that's what you get for trusting an ungulate.
Admittedly, it is quite tricky translating from llama to English. So many different pitches, meaning is frequently lost in the process.

I guess what I'm trying to say is... sorry ynbniar! :(

G1-G4. Four shapes, shaped a bit like the five headed snakes shape (assuming the room is close to a regular pentagon). Small alteration to this process, I think we should press all 5 of the shapes, one for each head on the snakes. It wouldn't make sense to leave one out, and besides, how would we p...

explorer.exe is the window shell program. Basically it's the basis for your entire GUI, so naturally terminating will get rid of your taskbar, windows etc. Why it would be constantly running at 100% CPU usage is a mystery. A quick google suggests one cause is a media thing, so does it happen when yo...

Jamal the llama suddenly starts making a racket in the empty corner after having stared at the room and celing for several hours. His owner tries to calm him down and starts talking to him again, nodding at his undecipherable noise. After several moments, he opens a bag on the animal's back and tak...

What exactly would be the consequence of you just marrying her in a non-religious ceremony ? Would the mormons kick you out of their church and put a cast on your offspring till the 7th generation. Or would a couple of confessions solve the problem ? I think it's more the fact that his personal spi...

One of the local guides turns to his imported llama pack-beast and seemingly converses with it for a few moments. He then speaks aloud, apparently translating the animal's grunts and bleats to nobody in particular: "Jamal asks ' Does the order we press the buttons matter? '". A few people...
