Again, the arcs represent the actual position of the nukes, irrespective of altitude. I think that also part of the problem is altitude isn't calculated. The Defcon website uses sIFR for the headings and navigation links. Don't like it? disable flash. Seriously, there is nothing wrong with sIFR usage.
