That Chris/Icepick thing has been going on since the old Uplink forums! He's not the same person, although plenty conspiracy theories go around...like how did he manage to wangle that Supreme Veteran title on the old Uplink forums?! Hmm?

This is weird. It's like we all have weird biometric implants that synchronises us all to come onto these forums and alienate everyone else. :D

(It's probably mostly Defcon why we're back, and a strange compulsive urge to play Uplink again...)

Holy moley! I think we've just uncovered Introversion's ultimate objective, the destruction of the world!

Strange that this thread should pop up a few days after I started visiting these forums again. I now live in Uni halls on a floor with 15 other (great) people. This semester I've gotten two of them to buy their own copies of Uplink, and since then I've had nothing but complaints from them as they ar...

XOR / Hex-to-Ascii Programs

Hey guys, A while ago (Like, three years ago?) I made a couple of tools to help with the decryption of the Gamebibles. I've recently gotten into Uplink again and want to read the Gamebibles, but I've long since deleted the programs (And their source). Does anyone still have a copy, and could you ple...

Through an issue of PC Plus magazine UK.  They had an article on designing graphics for games and mentioned Uplink.  I visited the site and got hooked.

I've no intentions on distributing it.  The license agreement prohibits me from doing it (Yes I read it).  This is purely a "for fun, just to see, it would be cool" kinda thing.  I've never actually developed for the PS2 before, so it's a new experience for me too. :)

I see, so it doesn't rely on any actual Uplink executables, just the data files.  So technically I could just install on Windows, copy the data files over, and compile on the PS2.

Thanks :)  Yeah, I see it now, teach me to read the FAQ before posting.  Not quite sure how it would be done as apparently it needs Uplink installed to compile, so I would probably need to cross-compile it on Windows (As the PS2 has a completely diferent architecture) then copy it over to ...

Hi, I have a question about the DevCD.  I recently purchased the Linux PlayStation 2 kit (LinuxPlay.com), which is quite good actually.  My question is, does the DevCD come with the full source code?  And can it be compiled under linux?  I want to compile it to run on PS2 linux :) EDIT: I have no in...

"The Goonies", seen it like a dozen times lol.

And here's a new one:

"That's my signature, and beneath it says Dear Rufus, you belong in jail."
