And to put us even more back on topic I think the PS3's been put at about £350 over here. No. Way. Not for that pile of sh*t. A SoE spokesperson has recently stated that the PS3 is going to be released at £425 in the UK. £425 ! That's in the area of $800! We're paying a whole £100 over the US and £2...

I've already asked Steam that question.. if I could import my retail version of Darwinia into Steam. They said "Nope. Sorry."
He said netcode, he didn't ask if you could use a retail copy of Darwinia on Steam

Strategy First to sell past and future games over Steam

It seems the bastards over at Strategy First are going to distribute some of their past and future games over Steam. I'm sure most of you remember Introversion reporting that Strategy First went bankrupt after screwing Introversion (and other companies) out of thousands of Dollars in royalties from ...

Set your computer's clock to 25th December. All the terrain in the game goes blue (not sure on that one), it snows on every level and every few Darinians wear a Santa hat

There is no CD for the Steam Version and even the retail version of Darwinia doesn't need the CD to play the game (after you've installed it, obviously). Introversion knows that there isn't a form of copy protection out there that actually works, they can all be broken and usually are broken a few d...

As far as I've seen, ZERO of the third-party games release patches/updates over Steam itself, they have to be manually downloaded and reinstalled... Rag Doll Kung Fu has had one patch, I know that it doesn't sound like much but it was just a quick patch to fix some rather big bugs that were in the ...

Introversion will still offer Boxed copies from their site, so the Linux version is in no danger. Introversion only has to remove the download version of the game. And since the game will still sell retail and Steam-free I would imagine that there will be non-Steam updates still. I'm certainly going...

Again, where the hell did porting Darwinia to Source come into this topic? I was under the impression that it was a discussion about if a Steam release would be a good idea. Where the hell did all the talk about Source come from?
