Still, this came as a HUGE, awesome surprise. Thank you!

I wish I had something to say about that story without being completely stupid.

It was rather amusing watching people speculate, on the rare occasions that they did. In any case, glad to see it finally out!

Seems to be an issue with the latest version. I'll poke around and see if I can replicate it on my copy of the source.

What an interesting suggestion. *cryptic grin*

Since when are June and July the same month? :P

Er, whoops. Since I fail at reading, apparently. :P

And I checked like 4 times to make sure I was reading it right. I blame too many hours spent looking through code today.

Since when is two days 'old'? In any case, I can say with certainty that porting the code to the iPad is not difficult. Aside from OpenGL ES requiring vertexArrays instead of glBegin/glEnd calls, it's pretty much the same. Getting permission to release it would be the more difficult part. If you are...

Congrats indeed! From what I read, not only did Darwinia take the grand prize, but it also won in Technical Excellence and for Innovation in Visual Arts. All very well deserved wins.

Here's to hoping you guys are back onstage with something new next year.

It really is hard to believe it's been a year already since the release. All that testing feels like it was a lot more recent then that.

Anyways, good to hear things are still going strong. I look forward to playing Defcon.

That topic doesn't look to me like it refers to the new patch. It looks like simply a version of Darwinia with native support for Intel Macs. Correct. It seems to be just a patch for Intel Mac support, and to bring it up to date with the currently released PC version. (icon based system, and such) ...

The current standings are up, as well as "official rules." Pardon any drastic changes to the site, I am still learning both PHP and XHTML, and am using the domain as something of a testbed. Also, pardon the crappy code and layout, for the same reason. You might want to remove the second (...

A couple other problems I've noticed with the new forums set up: (Please don't kill me! :P) 1) I've recieved three reply notification emails for this topic, and each one has had a link through a different board. The first came through the Darwinia (/darwinia/introversion/...) board, the second with ...
