I like the new layout of the Task Manager / Research / Objectives areas. You can also use your W / S keys to scroll up and down the screen so you can keep your right hand on the mouse.

I'm not sure whether the shortcuts for selecting units is a new feature or not but they are certainly welcome. The only thing I would really love is some way of quickly zooming to a unit when selecting them. This could be either by holding down the shortcut key or double-clicking on the unit symbol ...
