It's not difficult to find out how to enable mods without completing the game.

Grass town is probably my least favorite part, mostly because of the Fetch Quest. But the music there is neat.

Oh, and for those who are interested - 6:20. If you don't know what that means you'll find out.

Starfyre - Lots of people get stuck there, it's the first big sticking point in the game. The level 3 sword is very effective there, as the area effect takes out the missiles etc. L3 Bubbler can be useful too for the same thing but is a bit less dependable.

I was debating whether I should post a link to the game here. :-)

I agree with everything jackmn said - this is a SUPERB game - fast, smooth, well balanced, challenging and a metric ton of replay factor. And this goes double for people like xyzyxx who apparantly likes Metroid.

I believe the "gestures don't work bug" is purely a matter of slowdown.

The trick is not to release ALT at the same time as you release the LMB. Release the LMB after drawing your gesture, wait for the gesture to be recognised and then let go of ALT.

Wait. who is the ominously Sepulveda-esque character in the animation. Clearly Sepulveda is some kind of reference that I am just too young or too American to understand. That's Sir Clive Sinclair, inventor of the pocket calculator (I think) and the ZX Spectrum computers - which I believe were the ...

- Optimisations made to Darwinian combat code. Should help during
big battles involving lots of Darwinians.

Will this help with the infamous Pattern Buffer / Biosphere crash bugs, or is it purely to make DG's fight better?

I'm not sure if it's to do with 3D sounds hardware accelleration. That's "unavailable" for me and I get the crashes.

On a similar note, I think it would be cool if there were "static" effects or texture corruption etc in the levels - periodic bursts of static as if the virus was attacking the camera system, or parts of the landscape that were being eaten away or corrupted. For all the damage the virus is doing, it...

I'm having exactly the same problem, and I think it is definitely connected to the Red Darwinians. I've suffered four of five crashes now in Pattern_Buffer and Biosphere, usually incurred in the heat of a pitched battle against reds. I went and found the blackbox file, here's my one. ===============...
