I'm aware of a bug that units with a pixel effect behind a mountain show up through the mountain if a unit with pixel effect is viewable in front of the mountain, but only if the creature behind the mountain is in the 'pixel effect range' of the creature in front of the mountain. So i can replicate ...

Also if you do it too close you end up being in aim-radar movement mode while your squad is selected. Kind of annoying imo (nothing space can't solve though)

It's an error with the XINERAMA support code to make sure that works on all screens. I've encountered it myself as well.

The problem has mostly been fixed in 4e/4f, apart from one 'small glitch'. When i change resolutions, the XINERAMA offset guess is completely wrong. It differs from time to time what the exact values are, altough i've found that they seem to be negative quite some time.

I've found the same, and i've thought it was like this becuase in the full-game it would re-load the level, but the beta can't (it can only load it at start), so it'll quit. Not sure if i'm right, but this is why i accepted it ;)

Edit #2: Tried it in 4f and it still persists, but it can actually launch with manuallyscaletextures on. But everything runs crappy and the audio is choppy. Also, the fonts look fuzzy too. Freezes the UI on exit if i do anything though. Made a screenshot, and it indeed looks quite fuzzy: http://gen...

I'm having the same issues with beta4e. For sure the squads/engineers are gone, so i figure any running program is gone. Also any reprogrammed building reverts to it's normal state (not reprogrammed yet), and the refined-polygon-counter gets reset.

Are your speakers attached correctly? Does it happen in other applications as well? And isn't this what the SoundSwapStereo option is for? :)

Considering you also have xinerama with your right screen as your screen for darwinia, do you have the same issues as me? (http://forums.introversion.co.uk/darwinia/viewtopic.php?t=1087)

It's still of good use, and more modern linux games use it (UT2004 does for example iirc), and it works good so i don't see why not :)

Thanks for the help :)

In windowed mode it does work alright, apart from the fact that when i'm moving (with A/W/S/D) and i move my mouse at the same time, the screen will still turn to the right.

[edit]
In the task manager the mouse also stays at the right side of the screen when windowed.
