graphics card

It's a Rage Pro, 16 MB, and now that I have had a chance to try it out with standard prefs, it seems to give a similar effect on the control tower flash. I can't really test further with standard settings, since the view spinning makes it unplayable. But the following settings allow me to play, and ...

Bad textures

The following screenshot demonstrates a number of bugs, but the primary one is that the cursor's texture is bad. Granted, this shot was generated with the preferences changed so that I could actually run the beta (given my crappy video card), but still, I think it's problematic. Some shadows also di...

I'm guessing it's very unlikely that Darwinia will be running on an original iMac, or really any processor below 600 MHz, or video card with...

Yet another to add to the pile. This happened after quite a while of playing, when I had just had a squad launch a grenade. ========================= DARWINIA BLACK BOX REPORT ========================= VERSION : macosx-demo-beta1 ERROR : 'Fatal Signal (10) Received ' ========================= ===== ...

I thought you meant one of the apps in the CHUD directory... I've had developer tools on this machine since day 1. :) It's a development machine.

This belongs in the Mac specific bugs section. There's a whole topic devoted to just this crash.

Fatal Signal (10) crash in strcasecmp

I started a new topic so that strcasecmp errors could have a home of their own. I have been able to reproduce this twice by going into the Task Manager and either pressing the up arrow or the w key. ========================= DARWINIA BLACK BOX REPORT ========================= VERSION : macosx-demo-b...

hmmm

My question is, though, why would low frame rate affect the camera? But scene complexity does seem to be a big deciding factor. Whenever I get a lot in view, even accidentally, it starts gyrating wildly. I'll check in the class B section, see what's been said there, for starters. I wasn't actually a...
