I has a map
That's right. I found a very old mod I made. I no longer attempt mods, as it's far too complicated for me, but I'll give this contentless mod to y'all if y'all wanna play with it. Includes: -Like a zillion levels -A neat system of transporting: simply move your view into a trunkport to go to where i...

Nukes are made of: Titanium or Toothpicks
When I launch a volley of nukes at someone, a good number of them get taken out by a single hit from a defensive silo, while other nukes seem to have so much armor that they can take 10 hits. Is there a reason this is happens? If so, I really suggest a solid number of hits that will destroy a nuke e...

Nuking ships; is it worth it?
I've finally verified that you can indeed hit ships with nuclear missiles. (I'm still not sure if you can hit subs or not) Does anyone think this is an at all good use for a nuke, or am I just being silly? Let it be noted that you have to hit the ships very precisely, and that after you launch (even...

Silly Modding question
I have not had time to try to mod Defcon yet. When you play a mod on the internet, how is it that you are able to pay on a different map than other people in the same game? Or what happens?

sailable.bmp specifies what is land and what is sea. You have to make travel_nodes.bmp fit the sailable.bmp file though; Every node must be in a sailable location, and every node must be able to sail in a direct line to at least one other node. The sailable regions are determined by one of the bitm...

Detection sounds
Okay, so now I know that when a nuke is first launched, there is a little klaxon. That's good, but it only happens for the first nuke. 1. Does it klaxon for every nations first nuke, or every nuke once in a while, or what? 2. Would it be possible to make a sort of "beepbeepbeep" sound when...

Suggestion: Please Add some sounds.
I haven't played office mode, so excuse me if there actually are sounds and I'm not hearing them, or if this suggestion has been made before. I would really love to see some special sound when a nuke is being fired, so I can start paying attention the game when I need to. It would also be pretty nic...
