Got mine yesterday, with a manual, FYI. The box was a bit damaged, but I've had that happen to me before when ordering for example DVD-movies. No worries, and replacement boxes cost nada :)

Did someone mention a patch?

Ok I have to ask: what's the point of a Defcon-clan? In the event of future teamplay & tournaments? Or just to make sure one has sane and decent people to play against (as opposed to the hizzyfitting ARGH I QUIT!-teenagers)? No dissin' or nothin' (no, I can't speak ghetto...) - am just curious.

Got the box yet?

Before anyone replies: "No. Retard." I'd like to point out that this thread's meant as a place for people to go "Yay! Got me box with me Defcon CD today! My order number was XXXX."

So we who wait for it can hype ourselves up a bit. :)

I think I read somewhere that it takes 60 seconds to switch mode on them sillos. And it has to take more than 60 secs for a nuke to go from Europe to America (as an example, them subs in your harbor is a different matter, but that's why you make sure to find them before they hit the button). Of cour...

My guess is you'll see all launch detections, and no, you won't be able to see where they're headed, until you start plotting the nuke over the map. Or maybe one can click on the nuke and get info what it's target is? Either way, unless you're playing 15 min game, you have time to ponder the situati...

Maybe it's possible to shoot down any nukes in-air, not just the one aimed at your own territory. That way allies can help each other out, if nothing else than to make sure the current enemy doesn't get any more points. Yeah, can imagine that happening. 50 or so nukes inbound, and me going "Guy...

Hrm, need I be worried that the box will come post-October to me then? Which means I've moved, which means the Finnish Postal Service will have ample of opportunity to send my box to Moscow, for all I care. And that will lead to a political disaster of some kind and eeeeeveryone will blame me. Typic...

Maybe it's a matter of "easy to learn, but difficult to master"? As in, it might be easy to learn how to play the game, but difficult to learn How to play the game? Anything that keeps the 1337-d00dz away. Yes, I'm elitist. But my words are backed by the power of nuclear weapons.
