Sooo... just out of curiosity, is this patch going to make it onto the website itself as an official patch soon, or is it still a beta patch?

Downloaded the demo almost immediately after they put it onto HotU...

Bought the game about four days later.

And used to be active around here, but anymore I just lurk. Too busy working these days, wish police dispatch paid a reasonable amount...

I hereby request that we frame everyone who has a sig that stretches the screen ridiculously long, for a bank hack.

Oh, and American here, but I know more Brits and Canadians than Americans. Does that count?

Oh, I forgot one.

Tenacious D - Explosivo (Preferably the live version, not the album. It sounds better.)

Personally, I turn off the ingame music and play the majority of my Winamp playlist while I'm ingame. Clay People, Sevendust, Psykosonik.. Blue Man Group.. the soundtrack from Sonic CD.. and Pi, and Lost Highway, and a few other things. (Enough to play Uplink for 20 hours without the same song playi...

An easier way to do it would be to extract the image0.tff from the .dat file with winzip, put it in the uplink\graphics\photos directory, and ensure its dimensions are 128 x 160. It's what I did, and seems to work fine, leaving the .dat intact - the only problem is that everyone who was missing an i...

A thought: What kind of video card are you running? If it's a Voodoo3, I've got drivers that make it work quite well in XP.. other older cards have unofficial drivers out as well, for the most part, that make them run decently. Though I thought it reverted to software mode if the card wasn't suffici...

Eh, such a hack is exceedingly easy to get, you just need to find the proper address in memory to get it.

But two things about it:
1. It takes away the challenge completely.
2. The address seems to change every time you play. :)

AND! Deltron 3030. Anything, but damned if they aren't good.

And normally I don't even like rap.

No matter what you put together, it'd be bloody easy to hack if you've got the time. Case in point: Hacking banks in the demo version, or doing (half of) the mole mission; I'd finish that pseudo-mission, but there's simply not enough space on my gateway... the easiest way you could make a hard-to-ha...

Cool you can then have a reason for blaming FedEx or DHL or some other company for their stupidly idiotic slow delivery. FedEx has been screwing up a lot lately, as far as I tell. At least, in regards to the packages shipped by a client for the company I work for. Only a few thousand were shipped o...

So far, at least in terms of the demo(I'm doubting I'll get the game for some time now), I've actually found the soundtrack to the old Genesis/Sega CD thing for Sonic CD to be not half bad. Barring that, as the music gets bloody annoying after not long, a good movie soundtrack (First and second Crow...

Well, too bad he says it's a waste now, I already ordered mine and got it on its way.

Now the only question is, will this get lost in the mail like my credit card payment or the Purple Envelope? *mumbles incoherently*
