I feel dirty paying $5.07 for god-like source code. Clearly you haven't seen the source code of Uplink... Everyone gets down on the source of Uplink, but I have seen far worse. It's not a masterpiece, but the game and world parts are clean and straight-foward. Compared to how complex the world seem...

Please consider including the source for the city generator or at least including generator from Part 7 of the All in your Head series. I've read the Parish and Mueller paper a few times, but it's honestly a bit over my head. It'd be wonderful as a student of game design to be able to play with para...

Hey, by the way, was that contest approved by Introversion? The guy who ran it implied that they didn't, but I wasn't sure. If not, I feel bad that that's where my copy of Darwinia came from. What contest? xander ModDB had a contest in which they gave away five copies of Darwinia and the soundtrack...

well I doubt Defcon will have too high system requirements. I mean I can't see a way they could even try to take as much graphics as Darwinia. Yeah, well, you would think that it wouldn't be as bad, but you never can tell, so I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything from the boys themselve...

Just to be clear and/or obvious/stupid, you are using the right bank account? Using the account that is actually overdrawn to pay the fine? If not, transfer some money in there and send it using that account. Just a thought. By the way, I've been able to figure out how to close bank accounts....
SysReq?
Has there been any word yet on system requirements for Defcon? The interface/graphics seem much less demanding than Darwinia, so I would hope that the requirements would lessen a bit. I mean, it is a game of diagrams, after all. I read the second interview in which Chris said that the graphics syste...

A shadowy network of fans
This may have been posted, but did anyone see that last week's The Escapist had a short editorial about Uplink? http://www.escapistmagazine.com/issue/13/18 It's a call for an online sequel, but the author doesn't know much about Introversion, and seems to imply that it's only money holding them back.

Here's the proposal . I think it would be hilarious if Paul Eibeler sued Jack Thompson for threatening his life. Anyway, this is the same guy who said that The Sims 2 has much worse content than San Andreas because sims take their clothes off. Sim kids can do it, too, "much to the delight, one can b...
