What happens if you go around deleting peoples records on the AWAN? Does anything happen and does it affect future missions?

Look, It boils down to this, VB is great, nice and easy for applications and the such like. It also has great built in dialogues. C++ however, is the only language for fast games but it is much harder and takes a lot of time to learn.

Yeah, ok, I admit it is cheating, but backing up your usr files is really the only way to try out new things and experiment with hacks. It really isn't funny to work on a game for a month and then get it destroyed, even if they do want that "no turning back feeling".  

I agree, VB is rubbish for games. It really is slow and it doesn't have nearly enough power to do everything you want. The worst thing to do is to get half way through a game and find VB can't do a particular thing.

You guys really should try learning C++. Its really useful and everything is programmed in it, Uplink Included. And it takes about 10 minutes to find the code for "Please enter name" and change it. :( Also, if you search by one name it would have to come up with a list of peoples names wit...
