Re: [Suggestion] Limit number of Prisoners

I agree with the original poster. So what if it makes the game 'easy'? It's not a multi player game so it wouldn't be 'cheating' someone else. The point of the game is to have fun, and I think the idea of replenishing the prisoner numbers up to a max has its own challenges, for example how long can ...

Re: Mouse Issue

I had a similar problem. If you're running Windows, make your mouse pointer on screen the bog standard one, with no shadow. Worked for me on Win7. HTH.

Re: Prisonners run naked from thier cell to the shower bug

I laughed my head off the other day at a prisoner running naked through my prison! He was in the shower at the furthest end of the prison from the road when his time for release arrived. He immediately ran for the exit, out of the front gate and down the road, all naked! :D :D

Re: Carpentry: making superior beds problem

Thanks Cumpy. I'm bound to have saved, exited and reloaded the game between taking on the Grant and producing beds. I save regularly as I never know when it's going to crash, plus I have a family so can't play the game ALL the time!! :D I don't really care about getting the other 10k of the Grant as...

Re: Cooking starts to late?

It seems that the kitchens need a couple of hours notice to cook. A bit like real life?!

Glad I could help with the other issue. :)

Carpentry: making superior beds problem

My prisoners are busily making superior beds and must've made over 100 by now, selling each for $400. But the game won't credit me with any having been made, so I can't complete the relevant grant. I did find an old post on the forum saying that ten beds had to be on-screen, either in the workshop o...

I too get the same error and have no mods. Just normal game as supplied over Steam.

Re: Cooking starts to late?

Am not sure if this is the cause of your cooking problem or not, but I found that if I did a Shakedown while food was cooking, the search of the cooking food on the stoves seemed to cause most of the searched pots and pans to be taken to Storage, instead of to the serving tables. I found my Storage ...

Re: [suggestion] More prisoner control options

Anyone else want the ability to dictate when prisoners can have visitation? I only have a small prison and don't want to build a whole new wing with a separate visitors room just for two or three yellow prisoners. My Regime keeping the yellows apart from anyone likely to murder them is undone by vis...

Re: increased crashing

My prison is only small; approx 220 cells. I have no mods and the only other program overtly running is Firefox. Every other time this has happened, no error message was generated; however the freezing up has just reccurred and generated the following pop-up window [typed exactly as seen]: Fatal Err...

Re: Prisoners don't get send to infirmary when injured?

Yes, my doctors just stay in the infirmary even if someone is injured. I have to force the doctor to go where needed by clicking on them then right clicking where I want them to go. The only time a prisoner is brought to the infirmary is if they overdose. Please make all the injured go to or be take...

Re: increased crashing

I have it freeze every few hours. Sometimes hitting Esc fixes it, but sometimes it stays frozen with the cursor showing busy and the only way to get out of that is ctrl-alt-del then task manager to close. This only started happening since the last update. I'm running win7 on a Dell T5500 with 2x3.33...

Re: I NEED HELP!!!

My guards wouldn't monitor the monitors until I plonked a chair in front of the unit for them to sit on. I also had great difficulty getting cctv cameras (or telephones) to connect to the monitor box, but got there in the end by persistently switching into and out of Utilities mode. I still have no ...

Re: [EXPLOIT] Risk category trick

I'm always changing the prisoner's classification rating. Often, a prisoner arrives as a grey low risk or orange medium risk. Reading his profile I learn he's incarcerated for rioting and violent behaviour and there's no way he's low risk; he's max security minimum. Then I learn from informants he's...

Re: Prisoners won't volunteer for training

Thanks for reply; I'll give that a go.

Edit: relocating the armed guards has helped a great deal. Thanks for the suggestion; I hadn't realised that was what was meant by 'suppression'.
