Re: PA on console? Your thoughts.
Sure you could get Prison Architect to work on a console but let's think about placing an object for example (quite a vital part of PA). You place objects based on a grid and the most common way to navigate through that would be the D-pad or analog stick where a flick to the right would switch your...

Re: PA Alpha 29: Considerations
As for the Chapel naming - this game is based off of American Prisons as I understand it, and here in the US, the non-denominational name for religious services is usually "Chapel" not "Temple". Temple is more associated with Judaism here than it is non-denominational, but then,...

Re: Prison Architect will be released this year. Thoughts?
Moreover, this discussion brough to my mind the game "Democracy". Democracy has seen three realeses, which are independent games in a way--meaning that v1, 2, and 3 are bought separately even though each new version is a better remake of the base game. I think that PA could easily take a s...

Re: PA on console? Your thoughts.
No way!!! I own an XBox, and I love it. But I'd never think of playing PA on it! I remember that I played "Syberia" on my PC. I loved it. Then I got hold of Syberia 2 for PlayStation II. I just gave up on it: couldn't enjoy playing it with the gamepad. Also, controls aside, what about mods...

Re: Prison Architect will be released this year. Thoughts?
The Alpha 29 video does specify that the final release will not end the monthly updates. So we are looking at a final stable release which will be still updated. Possibly, many features are already being worked on even though they don't make their way into the alpha releases, so I wouldn't be surpri...

Re: Suggestion: Toggle daylight hotkey
I agree: night time is a bit too dark and makes it difficoult to plan. Some setting or key for increasing light would be good.
Or even a light circle around the mouse pointer would do.

Feature Req: Import/Export in Clone
Clone is a great tool which makes life A LOT EASIER when building large (and modular) prisons... Imagine if any selection of the Clone tool could be exported to a User-Library... And then reimported into the clone tool. This would mean that we could reopen past-prisons we built, and choose whole are...

PA feature suggestion :: Toggable grid?
Hi everybody, this is my first post on the forums... First of all, I want to say that PA is great and it's developing into a lovely game. A feature I'd like to see implemented is a toggable-grid. When planning (especially interiors) it cab be annoying to have to rely on planning tools--for example, ...
