History's full of silly quotes like the one from dear old Mr Gates.  I'm particularly fond of:-

"I see a world market for maybe 5 computers" - CEO IBM

Never Ever comment on the future if your famous, coz people like us will mock you for years on boards like this one

Suggestion for Chris:-

That site is displaying illegal information which is against Lycos' terms and conditions (8.2a).  I suggest you contact them requesting that the  site be shutdown.  I'd do it but it's your game.

As far as I know you won't be able to get rid of the flicker from the memo without lowering the speed at which each letter comes out.  The reason being that TMemo redraws it's entire text whenever it changes regardless of how much you actually change.  Yes I know how to add a single charac...

To use a crt you use to include wincrt in the uses clause for tp.  in delphi you use the {$APPTYPE CONSOLE} compiler directive in the main program unit.

Does it really have to be?  It was very very easy.   If it hadn't come with the two pieces of software you needed to solve it - and thereby pretty much telling you how each bit was encoded then it may have been a vague challenge.   On the other hand it was fun for at least a minute an...
