Re: Parole Rooms and Security Levels

Yeah, any security levels for parole rooms are being ignored at the moment. This has been reported after alpha 30 was released: http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=7987 I don't think this is intended. I find this to be undesirable as it is very labour intensive for the prison guards due to th...

Re: Laundry/Clothing

Yeah... I am aware of the over-filling I did of washing rooms. That was just an attempt to get them to actually clean... Yeah, that's what I thought. Dirty clothes can be a pain in the ass. You'll try anything to solve issues with it, I know As for the removing the staff only area: I tried that onc...

Re: Laundry/Clothing

Your problem is the maximum security wing right? They don't have any (new) prisoner uniforms. It has something to do with the distribution of the uniforms across your prison. The laundries in your med and min sec wing are receiving all the uniforms. I think it is being caused by the staff only areas...

Re: water and electricity

Yeah, you've got it! I just had to install my 13th generator for my prison. :D It makes the utilities screen look awesome. Every power grid has its own shade of green. Very nice  A second water pump on a small map should not be necessary. I don't think there are any limits on waterfl...

Re: Laundry/Clothing

Looks like this is the exact same situation: http://forums.introversion.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=51396&p=582027#p582027 Try building a strip of foundation between the cells. This will create a cell block. I bet laundry will work properly then. If not, yeah just upload the save file somewhe...

Re: idea

Cos while my guard was taking the prisoner to the other side of the prison to his cell, I actually had a doctor following them trying to treat him but the guard refused to stop frogmarching him to his cell. Looked kind of disrespectful :D Haha! Yeah, they do that all the time :D The guards also tak...

Re: Suggestion for Parole Consequences

Very good suggestions; maybe the stoical ones would be indifferent to parole? "Angry" does appear to already be a status effect that a prisoner can get in A29; I assume it's from being denied parole. Yes, they already get angry when parole is being denied. The angry status effect lasts fo...

Re: Last [SUGGESTIONS] before PA is completed!

Yeah nice list. I'm sure we'll see some of these suggestions being implemented. Have my doubts about multiple floors though. I've read somewhere they won't do that. I don't think it will work out very well either. All good and agree with them all, I would like to add 1 more though.:D Functioning Del...

Re: Prison Architect Alpha 29

One thing that is a bit unclear, is in which way the slider works. If I set it to 0%, will 0% of prisoners be denied parole, or will 0% be allowed parole? (assuming a flat reoffending profile on all prisoners) The labels 0% and 100% should be changed to "Approve all" and "Deny all&qu...

Re: Prison Architect Alpha 29

Now if you will excuse me, I have a lot of work to do... *downloading alpha 29* indeed  they will never get parole  Hahaha! That's dark! Just build a parole room with the only purpose to agonize your prisoners by never giving them actual parole. They all deserve this! Yo...

Re: Prison Architect Alpha 29

Pretty cool update guys! Parallel deliveries and alternative routes should be great improvements. We all wanted that I think. The library and multi-faith-prayer-room looks very nice! And I very much love the thought you've put into the parole system. Seems very well thought through to me. Can't wait...

Re: Giving people drug Treatment is bad .-.

I've tested a couple of times what there could be done about inmates stealing drugs from the infirmary after a drug treatment session. I had 5 guards stationed in infirmary, dog's patrolling around it. After the session inmates had to pass through a small corridor with couple of dog's in it. Some wh...

Re: A suggestion / question about the workshop

Do you have any logs and wood in your workshop? Because sheet metal will be bought if that's not the case. Prisoners will cut all remaining metal sheets up first before they start cutting the logs. Now there is this bug http://bugs.introversion.co.uk/view.php?id=3780 which is very annoying and might...

Re: Dog and Metal Detector false alarms?

It's pretty easy to determine if it's a false positive or not. If one of your dogs leaves a flag somewhere, just let the dog explore the area around it. Order him to walk around a bit. Just 1 flag? Like Drakexz said, don't bother it's nothing. When your dog goes nuts and leaves multiple flags it's a...
