Check the forum, there was a seperate forum especially for the patch, that gave it away to most people with normal vision.

I think almost every other Uplink player is making their own hacking game by the amount of threads on the forum about it.

Just leave it to Introversion, and to a certain extent the Hungarians makinh HackR.
