I've just got a logitech optical mouse hooked to my ps/2 port via a USB to ps/2 converter. Downloading the latest mouse drivers didn't fix the problem. Also, I still have the issue of the titlebar and the startmenu getting in the way of clicking important buttons.

Running the game in safe mode doesn't help, so I took a wild guess and ran the computer in safe mode. The game works fine in windows safe mode except for the fact it doesn't have sound. Your post seems to be argumenitive and without point. If that is your definition of a clone then you are free to use the term as such. Asking me to rebute your statements on the lack of improvement over uplink is simply asking me to reveal more information on the game.

Some of what you say is valid, however, It looks interesting, don't get me wrong, but saying it isnt an Uplink clone, well..., I dont think this game would be here today if it wasn't for Uplink. This is Like saying Half-life is a clone of Doom because Doom was there first. also ---------------------...

I realise, that this is a serious claim, but I beleive that it is possible a game has emerged that is on the same level of uplink, without even being a clone! what a concept! The screenshots look great, and my beta experience with it has been awsome. The game is focusing more on the actuall hacking ...
