Evacuation/Better ways of protecting staff/Last resort
There should be more ways of protecting staff members, such as evacuating them from the main building(s) in case of a riot or fire, possibly a safehouse. Or, evacuating prisoners that are either in the middle of a fire or caught in the midst of a newly-implemented gang brawl. Unarmed staff members s...

Re: [SUGGESTION] Public opinion of prison
The interview mechanic sounds intriguing for the campaign. In terms of public opinion, the first version of the lawyer was kinda for that purpose. The lawyer would limit the negative effects of you being a really bad prison architect. Granted, it was more to do with limiting the legal ramifications...

EVERYBODY, READ THIS
The point of this post isnt the guards or whatever. The point is the public opinion bit. Please make your comments about that.

Re: [SUGGESTION] Public opinion of prison
It is already sort of reflected in the grading screen. And armed guards are perfectly normal in patrol and such. In a real world prison, you never should have armed guards inside the prison. Sure, its normal to have them guarding the perimeter or the entrances, but having them inside poses a huge s...

ooh, great idea. The prisoners could trick the guards into coming to a trap! Or, for communicating with eachother.

Agreed. I mean, not only should the guards be listening to each other instead of an architect/manager.

Re: [Suggestion] Guard communication
I think if this gets put in the game then you should be able to adjust the numbers and stuff like that trough policy. But i do like the manual control still. I think there is no need for this system. Manual control is good, but sometimes you're busy/distracted/etc. I know that already guards will m...

Re: Prisoner intelligence (or not needing to pass low level
My prison has many prisoners, but only 3 have passed the base level education needed to work in the library, which means i barely have any library books sorted on the shelves. You have made changes in previous releases that only intelligent prisoners will even attempt to plan an escape, or try othe...

[Suggestion] Guard communication
When things get bad it seems like you have to make the guards go and stop it. I think when something bad is recorded on CCTV, guards should automatically move in. Another idea I had was something that would be researchable through bureaucracy, which would be walkie-talkies. If things go sideways and...

Re: [Suggestion] Staff traits/needs
I think this would be interesting. It would definitely make the guards seem less like robots that do a set task and more like people. Yeah. I mean, I know you're supposed to be focused on the prisoners, (after all, it is a prison) a real world prison has to make the staff feel like employees and no...

[Suggestion] Staff traits/needs
I think that the staff should have traits and needs, particularly guards, that would make them better or worse at their jobs. Examples of positive traits: Runner (Faster movement speed) Remembered Their Coffee (Get tired slower [It needs a better name, I know]) Good Fighter (Self-Explanatory) Tough ...

[SUGGESTION] Public opinion of prison
It seems to me like all our prisons are sealed off from the media, or in a parallel dimension where media sources are non-existent. I think that there should be some sort of meter or chart that records public opinion, and if it's too bad for too long it would be a cause of failure. It would be influ...

Re: [suggestion] How about a "History Chart"?
Here is an idea for coming updates: A button named "History" would be cool where you can look for your prison value, your daily income and other things like that viewed in a chart with the attributes changing over time. Something like a graph would be very cool. Things for the graphs migh...

Re: [suggestion] Death by old age and diseases
I really think you should add death by old age because the worst prisoners won't ever leave the prison. Also you should add diseases as they play a big part in real prisons. You could make them so there are a couple of diseases and each has: infection chance, incubation period, discomfort and dead ...
