Hmm, sounds truly interesting.. I just made a casual check-back on Introversion's page, and then I find news on a Modlink CD :-)

Just purchased it via Ebay. Will be awaiting the delivery with eagerness..

I think I stated my opinion on this topic here a loooong time ago. I will now restate it again for all you posters out there :) Warez == no! And that's my opinion and principle. If I don't like the price of a product, the quality of a product or the company behind the product, it doesn't really chan...

Ooh, glad to hear you found a solution :) I guess using Alsa isn't necessary then. At least not for SBLive users. SB128 PCI users like me will propably need Alsa though... As far as I remember, there has always been some sound delay problems with the es1371 kernel driver. Also in kernel 2.4.19. Usin...

Solution to your libglut problem:
Upgrade to patch 1.3!
1.3 uses SDL instead of glut :)

You could also install glut, but I really recommend upgrading Uplink to 1.3 in any case!

I like this patch.. There's a lot of very nice fixes for the Linux version. Amongst other things, themes is now working and the irritating freezes some people got when the game was saved automatically should be pretty much gone (edit: At least this is the case on my 800Mhz Athlon T-bird). And sound ...

Hmm, Monkey Madness, will you please check your caps lock button? Your posts looks irritating to say it mildly. Actually, if we're totally out of luck, both Icepick and Chris is sleeping right now, seeing as they live in England. And if that's the case, neither of them will come and sign in for quit...

And then we have this little cool project going on at sourceforge: http://xbox-linux.sourceforge.net/ ;) But if I ever get myself a console, It's propably going to be the GameCube. Simple reason: I know a friend who has it... And it goes for a bit more fun if you can borrow various games from each o...

No... I really dont. I used about:blank. :S Lol! I give up, it seems that some people just can't see it. Somehow, I can clearly see the difference between the various refresh rates. And by looking on white, it becomes more significant... Actually, I can almost tell what refresh rate the monitor is ...
