Re: Lovely bug with Guard Towers
The pictures are huge and aren't resizable when linked in this post so I'm linking to the steam community urls instead. The inmates aren't organising themselves so neatly anymore. Some - such as Whiteman - are stopping a long distance away. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=74636...

Lovely bug with Guard Towers
Due to bad planning I ended up sticking a guard tower inside an existing yard. Inmates running around the yard exercising stopped 2 squares away from the tower and turned towards it. I ended up with a semi-circle of inmates standing staring at the guard in the tower. It was both amusing and slightly...

Inmates in holding cell not allowed to leave?
My inmates assigned to the holding cell keep getting taken back inside and can't leave. Has anyone noticed this before or is it just something odd in my prison? I've filled my prison to near capacity. There are free cells, but they are grade 8+ so new inmates don't get sent there and as all the low ...

A Prison with 2699 cells
An update somewhere along the way stopped prisons crashing when more that 20,000 entities were on view (that is the error message I was getting). This caused one of my prisons to crash when I tried to upload it to steam. Or to zoom out at all. It has 2699 cells and a bit over 1000 inmates. And it ru...

Re: Question about Prisoners Bathroom Needs...
If you've got a large prison there is a timewarp factor (I think it is to give time for the inmates to travel across large distances and still do the actions they are meant to). I can't recall what the factor is exactly, but if you think you're giving them 8 hours of sleep it is actually a lot more....

Re: Ghost hands on weights
There are quite a few bug posts about it. I even had an issue with inmates putting their hands on the weights before they got to the bench, but that either got resolved or went away on its own. It did amuse me. I reckoned I'd received a load of inmates with pyschic powers, who were lifting weights f...

Re: your worst inmate
I have no idea how to resize images from Steam, so unless you have this at high resolution you won't be able to see the full "augmented inmate containment mechanism" (the path opens out onto the outside where 5 armed guards are waiting with "shoot-to-kill" in effect. However, thi...

Re: How do I cancel manual punishments?
If you have unlocked permanent punishments, give the inmate a permanent version of whatever punishment you gave him 400 hours of (solitory or lockdown) and then cancel it. It will forget the original punishment. If you haven't unlocked permanent punishments then there isn't much you can do. And inma...

Re: [Suggestion] Rival gang members are not put in the same
I just watched a documentary about a prison where - due to massive overcrowding - they have 3 gangs in 1 makeshift dormitory (intended as a basketball pitch). Scary stuff with all the rules the inmates have about where they can and can't go and any misstep leads to deaths. In more practical terms - ...

Fun feature of dormitories
A video of an event in a dormitory. I didn't expect that they would all work together to tunnel out. As it seems you can make dormitories of any size you feel like, this could lead to some fun.

I finally made a prison too big
I developed a kind of obsession with trying to make a really big prison that still worked. And I've finally gone too far. My prison crashes if I zoom out far enough to see more than 50% of the prison, it crashes anyway about once an hour and I tried to upload it to the steam workshop and it just ref...

Recruited Gang Members change appearance
Just a quick question - are inmates recruited into gangs meant to change appearance? I watched two guys get recruited. The first just gained tats. The second one however, instantly shaved his head and put on sunglasses. It was kinda amusing, but I was left wondering if that was meant to happen. Also...

Re: Timelapse Anyone??? Plus Prisons
I am still working on completing a 2000 inmate prison with timelapse. Doing uploads of each stage. It is painful - a prison that big runs really slowly on my PC. My aim for a properly functional 2000 inmate prison started from a conversation with my friend after I made a youtube video of a really st...

One for the ladies
Maybe I shouldn't have taken in 300 inmates at once. Then again, if I didn't I wouldn't have had this scene.
(hmm, the image doesn't scale to the window. tsk)

Re: Major lag with a massive prison
I don't think extra RAM will help (unless you've only got 2Gb. Upping to 4Gb will help everything, not just PA). It is a 32 bit process, which means it uses a maximum of 2Gb (or 3Gb if it is large address aware). I've got it running right now on a +1000 inmate prison where I've bought a lot of extra...
