Re: Make open doors noclip

I find that shameful, and this is no encouragement for me to provide feedback to Introversion in the future. For someone who played nearly all introversion titles and with some dedication, I might even say that, today, I am sad. I'm sorry that you feel that I or anyone else is trying to discourage ...

Re: Being able to cancel a dump/dismantle command

I don t think you can cancel a dismanteling or dump. I tried it, but failed many times. Maybe that will come in the feature. He was requesting a feature, not asking how it is done. xander And what about giving OP feedback about the requested feature instead of gently bashing yet another player that...

Issue in bitmap.cpp

When going from Windowed to Fullscreen, or the other way around, I can have this error: Assertion failed : 'result == 0' ..\..\contrib\systemIV\lib\resource\bitmap.cpp line number 894 Then all the sprites are shown as black squares, except for walls and floor squares. I run with Filtering: Supersamp...

Re: Make open doors noclip

There is no misunderstanding of what a bug is. Clearly, there is. At least three people feel that the current behaviour of the doors is a design decision (for better or worse), while you feel it is a bug. Obviously, there is some misunderstanding about what a bug is, because if there weren't, no on...

Re: Make open doors noclip

But well, ok, "it's not a bug, it's a feature". As customers, it's not like we never heard that before... The game is still in Alpha, there's no need to be snide. When you buy an Alpha game you know what you're in for. Also, a lot of the issues you pointed out have been reported on the Bu...

Re: Make open doors noclip

As I said, the door is going into a slot in the wall. There's no need for a specific "door wall element". Sorry, there is no evidence of such "slot in the wall". It sounds like a make-up explanation for trying to deny the fact that there are still bugs occurring due to doors pla...

Re: Continuous intake - Day50 - 600prisoners-7%Reoffendingra

It sounds sophisticated and thought out, I like it! What I find unfortunate is that the game is not demanding enough to require such a complex layout. Actually any average layout with even unlocked areas will work out on the most dangerous prisoners :-/ I think this game lacks more subversion strate...

Re: In wich language is Prison architect made?

Probably C++. Some of the game's internal functions use the _thiscall calling convention according to IDA. Also OpenGL is a library, not a programming language. And DirectDraw is obsolete. Do you mean Direct3D? (which isn't a programming language either, btw) I never said that OpenGL was a programm...

Re: Education Foundation problem!

Took a look and managed to figure out a solution. There is a bug report in the bug tracker where a lockup period immediately before work makes programs not work. I tried setting the two hours of lockup in your savegame prior to work to free time and the teachers did come in. I tried in the bugbash ...

Re: Make open doors noclip

Using the examples in your first post shows you did tell the doors to go through the walls, i.e. |XX|0| Telling the door to move to the right when opened means you've told it to pass through the wall to the right. In real life this would be accomplished by having a slot in the wall that the door sl...

Re: Make open doors noclip

I told nothing so stupid as asking people to make doors go through walls.

Sorry sir, you can try putting words in my mouth, but that won't work :-D

A door should not go through a wall. If it does, then it is a ghost door, and must be acting like this up to the end.

Re: In wich language is Prison architect made?

The core graphical engine is made with OpenGL, maybe a bit of DirectDraw, and the game is made in C/C++, which makes sense when you need straightforward CPU performance for your algorithms.

I am an investor.

Even his game says it.

I actually own... 100% of my prison!
