I usually have mine set at 3 or 5%. I keep them in as long as possible. That way they get reformed. One legendary came in at 97% re-offend, but was paroled at 2%. I've lost a couple of parole lawyers from angry inmates with the "deadly" trait. Dead lawyers don't count as deaths in your pr...

I don't want the player to have any say in parole except the policy. I do agree however that prisoners that have committed misconduct should have their parole chance lowered depending on the seriousness of the misconduct and the time that has passed. Again, parole isnt set by policy, the real world...

honestly thats how people on death row live. I do agree tho, sometimes I almost feel bad for them, expecially when the game bugs out and gives you some guy for joy ridding for a deathrow inmate

One thing I would like is the abilitiy to assign some guards tazers but not all. I think tazers make the game to easy, but I would like for example 1 guard with a tazer in the canteen and in the parole room.

How does giving out long stints in solitary make prisoners more inclined to riot? Ever heard of deterrence? Looking at the real life max sec and supermax prisons, they all have severe punishments for misbehaving. And they manage to keep the prisoners in check even when they are in lockup for 23 hrs...

I absolutely agree. While I understand their reasoning for not having us manually grant people parole, because we are there to set policy not micromanage, I think parole is just one of those things that there is no policy for in real life that is micro managed. I would like to see some kind of thing...

In real life, if something happens, the entire prison is locked down to free up the guards to deal with the problem. You can manually lock doors tho.

Sorry, didn't realise I was being ambiguous. No, the prisoners are not voluntarily entering staff only areas, but they are asking to be let through staff doors and the guards are opening the doors for them. While realising that staff doors are not all that strong during breakout attempts, I had not...

As far as I know, the "outside" cannot be designated as staff-only---it is designated shared by default---hence if a prisoner is standing by a door that leads outside and requesting that a guard open it, there is nothing in the game logic to prevent a guard from opening that door. If you ...
