Remove jobs programme prerequiste?

So is there a way to remove the reform programmes that prisoners need to pass to work in the workshops and kitchen etc?

They keep failing because they are suppressed, but i want a russian style prison whereby they are forced to work under heavy armed guards instead of lazing about doing nothing.

Re: Incredibly bad logic by devs

Well in black dolphin (supermax prison in russia) for example, prisoners are kept in their cells (shared by 2 prisoners) for 23 hrs a day. They are fed only bread and soup. And yet they dont riot at all. Thats because they know if they do so, they lose even more of their rights. No prisoner has esc...

Re: Incredibly bad logic by devs

That still doesnt answer the logic part..... first, hi for barging in :) second: logic -irl human beings tend to go nuts in lockdown and solitary, especially if it is for a long time. (which is also why solitary confinement is not used in mental clinics anymore) third: - don't call devs idiots plea...

Re: Incredibly bad logic by devs

Prisoners are not reformed by harsh conditions in prisons. It might however work to keep them from misbehaving in the prison itself. Maybe that would also be a good trade-off in the game? - treat prisoners harsh, which is cheaper, but you'l have a higher reoffending rate - treat prisoners well, whi...

Re: Incredibly bad logic by devs

There are plenty of examples in the real world of devious prisoners in supermax prisons who found ways to kill guards and other prisoners even though they were kept "solitary". I fully support the developer's current paradigm, which is that it should be expensive if you choose to mistreat...

Re: Incredibly bad logic by devs

This is clearly retarded considering that the devs are basically telling us that no, we cant punish troublemakers for keeping them locked up will somehow make things more dangerous. It is clearly the other way around  How does giving out long stints in solitary make prisoners more inclined to...

Re: Incredibly bad logic by devs

Yeah, the problem here is not one of logic. It is that you and the developers seem to have fundamentally different axioms regarding human behaviour. The model that the developers are using (which, obviously, is tremendously simplified) is that people have certain needs, and if they cannot get those...

Re: Incredibly bad logic by devs

How does giving out long stints in solitary make prisoners more inclined to riot? Ever heard of deterrence? Looking at the real life max sec and supermax prisons, they all have severe punishments for misbehaving. And they manage to keep the prisoners in check even when they are in lockup for 23 hrs....

Incredibly bad logic by devs

Not sure what the devs were even thinking in the first place, but why the hell does having prisoners shackled in their cells or in solitary contribute to the danger level? This is clearly retarded considering that the devs are basically telling us that no, we cant punish troublemakers for keeping th...

worst bug ever

Just to make sure, my supermax prisoner just disarmed and killed several of my guards while HANDCUFFED.

This is a bug right?

And he has murdered 29 people so far in my prison...

Re: Game breaking never riot bug

I am not sure whether or not this is a bug.

Are the majority of your prisoners suppressed??
