Re: Modding questions

Post the can move lines you are moving. Game.cammove (10, 10, 20, 20, 1, true) Game.cammove (35, 35, 45, 45, 1, false) Game.pause (3) For instance, is a camera box that is 10 by 10, moving 15 blocks down and 15 across. Note that if your box coordinates are incorrect, it can cause it to zoom in retar...

Re: Modding questions

Can't help without further information (ie; post the code?) Also do you know how cam move works? Just wondering. (x, y, x1, y1), the first four coordinates, make the 'box' of the camera. You then have to enter another cam move for the 'box' to move to the other 'box'. And yeah its pretty much a gues...

Re: PA Mod Editor (questions maby reality)

1. Yes totally :D It would encourage lots of new (and non-programmer) people to get modding. I'd really like to see is a user-friendly 'campaign maker', as well as being able to select coordinates on a map with ease, instead of 'guessing' them (If that makes sense). I'm currently dabbling in Lua scr...

Re: First impressions of the introduction (from a European)

Conquest, considering that almost all 11 of your posts mention 'guns', 'cars', and 'freedom', perhaps you should consider joining a more politically orientated forum to express your opinions?

Re: Unlock Restricted Object

Slight misunderstanding. When I said you cannot add more items, I'm talking about the impossibility of 'adding' invisible objects to the objects menu, as something to click/rotate/place etc. I am aware you can 'add' these objects into a savegame provided you know the object name etc. But like I said...

Re: Mod Database

http://www.prison-exchange.com A relatively unused website by the looks of it and not fully functioning, not sure who owns it, but it exists... Also, http://www.devwiki.introversion.co.uk/pa/index.php/Mods Provides all the pretty current/useful mods thus so far With Alpha still developing with some ...

Re: [Suggestion] Wooden buildings

(Wouldn't wood-walls end up being underused since they won't escape/fire proof ( and it would have to be quite high risk for escape/fire for it to actually serve its purpose), as well as foundations/brick walls being pretty cheap as is already? Would not everyone just want to max out on better walls...

Re: Unlock Restricted Object

You cannot add more items into the spritebank. Technically you could, but it would not show up in the menu anyway since the menu is hardcoded to only show the current available objects / all the other functions are hardcoded too. (I tried for quite a while attempting to unlock more items :) )

Re: Select multiple objects

Perhaps a draggable dismantle box, using the dismantle tool and holding shift.

Or having an additional dump tool, since there is no quick way to mass-dump items... I like the idea of drag-select-move-obects to new location.

Re: Different executables?

Perhaps they are to identify them as unique to whoever has downloaded them, since you don't need an account/key. Maybe even to identify which ones are being torrented wrongfully etc. Just a wild guess since I have only a vague idea on what Hashes are :D http://www.gohacking.com/what-is-md5-hash/ &qu...

Re: Crash on boot

Perhaps it is the campaign glitching? I recall somewhere you could edit PA so that it recognises you 'finished' the campaign introduction (called deathrow) and jump straight into the game.

My game crashes in a similar fashion when I am making (bad) campaign edits :P

Hahaha, subtle. I'm not sure why anyone would try this in real life unless they're always unsupervised in an outdoor area :P
