Re: General Education qualification
I think it's also worth bearing in mind that if you have a prison with mostly min sec prisoners, a lot of them tend to get released before they'll have had the time to go through both the foundation and the general education courses (and if you've only got one course running with prisoners already o...

Re: No bugbash builds released?
I selected it as as normal through right click->Properties->Betas->bugbash - Bug Bash Public from the list and it opted to start downloading another ~100mb. Were you previously signed up through that/have they not been releasing via that? EDIT: Yeah, just took a look at the version that downloads an...

Re: Riots after shower time
It can also be an idea to have an eating time right before they go to bed - and in the canteen there have a variety of things that address the needs, i.e. toilets, weight benches, payphones, etc. If you're minimizing the number of outstanding needs they have before they go to sleep, they should hope...

Re: [Suggestion] - more vulnerable reps for PC
I didn't actually mean that as to say that you can ignore it happily because people come in as min sec. I meant that as to say that players can find that instead of building costly separate PC wings, it's simpler to throw people into min sec. It really isn't that much effort to check what's coming i...

Re: Death row standard needs
Probably a little, but I got the impression that that's more of a % question, rather than a simple numbers question. If so, having <5 DR prisoners not feeling too happy probably won't make a dent in the rest of your prison's mood as you're likely to have hit 100-200 prisoners before seriously starti...

Re: [Suggestion] - more vulnerable reps for PC
Depends on how you have your prison set up, really. Your min sec prisoners will basically never touch snitches, so they're perfectly fine going into there (the last time I set up a prison, I started with ~100 min sec prisoners, about 5% of which were snitches/law enforcement and I never had a single...

Re: [Suggestion] - more vulnerable reps for PC
They'll only try to kill a snitch or ex-law enforcement if you have no guards nearby. Even in the worst parts of my prisons, it's very rare that a snitch dies on their first day. Either way, it's still designed as a trade-off - spend time building up your CIs and make sure you have the intelligence ...

Re: [Suggestion] - more vulnerable reps for PC
More flavour text? Hey, that's fine with me. I might not read it all, but I don't mind. But I do have a problem with having more vulnerable prisoners. Look, I like the challenge, but it's annoying to have to call in my CIs everyday after 8AM to see if any of the new arrivals require protective cust...

Re: Death row standard needs
If you're so inclined to be that nice to your death row prisoners, you can actually include all of that within the confines of their cell (shower, phone booth, weights bench, etc.). That said, I've not had my death row prisoners kick off at all - they seem to just be mostly subdued inside their cell...

In small chunks it looks like that, yes. In larger sections, it'll look more like this:

Sorry that's at night by the way, so the lighting could be better - just hopped in quickly to pick that up.

Re: Yard Congestion
You could also consider putting in some different items into your yard. It's kinda sparse, so there aren't many needs that can be met there. I typically put in phone booths, weight benches, pool tables, TVs, even a couple of toilets (yard often ends up being right after a two-hour lunch block and so...

Re: Incredibly bad logic by devs
If your prisoners are having needs problems sufficient in the morning to cause them to riot every morning, you probably need to take a better look at your regime and how you structure that.

Re: Execution Detail HELP - Bug
It seems that if you have an internal wall (i.e. an additional wall inside separating, say, a shower)/insufficient space in your death row cells, this can happen. Bear in mind that the leader and your staff need the space to stand like this: XOX ..X Where the O is the prisoner and the X's are the st...

Yeah, I was very thankful when I originally found that - trying to do anything on that window with the entire thing open was impossible.

[Suggestion] Improve Informants UI
It's a fairly minor concern, but I currently have a prison with 26 CIs (had 30 'til a handful were released). I'll admit, there's not necessarily a huge benefit in having quite that many, except that you get to rotate out your best ones (I've got six now at 100% coverage) so you're less likely to bl...
