Re: What should we focus on next?

A futuristic setting would be fun, but perhaps not the scope of the game .... love what rimworld is doing though. Something I pity playing Prison architect is that there is not much going on once you got your prison going. yes at the start of a new prison it is a bit hard because new prisoners have ...

Why do you keep doing this? Do you think this makes you funny or is it based on a lack of attention by your parent and you start to crave for attention here? Anyway, don't.

You should learn not to use unacceptable and totally unnecessary insults.

Re: Improve performance?

Interesting, I've had the opposite experience: When I pause the game and go read the forums/wiki/whatever while keeping the game running for some time and then switch back to the game, it usually has heavy lags until I save/reaload. My best guess for that issue right now is some utility structure s...

Re: Reddit Ask Me Anything with Mark and Chris

Prefer some forum interaction above reddit.
I will most likely not be there at the time you guys have an AMA because I am not willing to be there at a specific time.
So I highly prefer some way of communication that allows me to do so when I feel the time is right.

Great idea .. for another game I am afraid.
Considering there is a limited amount of resources to spend on this game and there is still a ton of work left ......

Re: [Suggestion] Airlock style doors / Doors on timers

Airlock doors, I like it!
Would work great for the "space" setting as well :P

The timer doors would also be nice, but might make it to easy to regulate the prison?

Re: Emergencies and evacuation

1 . Fire Alarm: Sounds the fire alarm, all cell and cell block doors unlock, prisoners will be handcuffed and along with all staff evacuate to a pre-designated evacuation zone or when not available, the yard. Maybe this will make it to easy. Sure all cell doors can be unlocked but to have all priso...

Re: [suggestion] Bind objects to room types

I think it would not be so hard to have a list with banned items next to the list of required items for each room type.

If there would be no power, then the kitchen does not work as well.
So as long as one knows what is needed and what is restricted it will not be much of a problem.

[suggestion] Bind objects to room types

The current situation allows to have toilets in the kitchen/yard/shower and whatever room type and or television/phone booth in the prison cells. Causing it to be to easy and efficient to fulfill the prisoners needs. There is not as much need for a good rotation in the regime because the prisoner ca...

Re: Restricted Areas

I disagree that rooms should have default zone-types.
Being able to choose if you want to have prisoners in the kitchen or not is just fine.

Re: [Suggestion] Foundation only please

First of all you did not react to the content of the first post. As you explain yourself, you merely questioned the positioning of it on the forum. You can try to make it look the same, but it is not. Secondly you once again insulted me. The funny thing is that it is very obvious who needs to grow u...

Re: Improve performance?

I have had the same experience.
Every time I start to build something the game starts to slow down.
When I keep it running while not changing anything it will do much better.

My guess is that the jobs the simulation creates for the workers/staff somehow are bugged.

Re: Digging is a little insane

What I dislike about tunneling is the repetitive clearing of tunnels.
Having to check all the cells every other day starts to get boring real fast.
