Re: Room Requirements: Minimum Size

Just saying not everyone has the same opinion you do so don't expect things that you consider issues to be issues to other people. Again, just mod the requirements away for now if they really bother you that much. If enough people feel the same way you do, then perhaps the developers will feel incli...

Re: Room Requirements: Minimum Size

To be honest you're the first person I've heard complaining about this, and if it ticks you off so much, why not just learn to mod (which is incredibly easy) so you can remove the size requirements?

Re: Prison architect.exe has stopped working (windows 10)

Go through the basic stuff like reinstalling through Steam, clearing caches etc etc. If that doesn't work, try taking ownership of the entire Steam folder. I heard that Windows 10's installation messes up a whole lot of people's permissions causing them to either be unable to install games or update...

Re: Is this really the main forum?

What's also not helping is that this forum is also split between the General board and the Community Members board.

Re: [Suggestion] Ventilation

Would definitely like to see the implementation of vents to transfer heat or cold air to where you want it. Added bonus: Some prisoners try to escape through vents, then jump out when they can't get any further and try to escape from there.

Re: Holding cells major issues

To expand on the steam guide. What this means is that your Dormitory is probably of too high a quality for your new prisoners. It's probably a 5 or 6 maybe higher depending on the luxuries you've added to it. So you need to have a slightly lower grade dormitory or cellblock (As in, smaller space, L...

Re: Overheating on Mac?

I don't know what Mac stock fans are like but they can't be so terrible that a CPU at full load could lead to overheating without some kind of blockage from dust/skin cells/hair etc. He is using a MacBook, which is a laptop. Laptops generally have pretty shitty airflow to begin with, and my experie...

Re: Holding cells major issues

Mmmh, so you mean it is mandatory ? I can understand it leads to deadlock situations then... and I have read the wiki, in no place it says it is mandatory, just that they can become disgruntled if not receiving 'proper cell quality treatment'. From the Steam guide: "Prisoners who enter your pr...

Re: Overheating on Mac?

A buddy of mine said he took it off his mac so a game didn't ruin his machine. I'm taking it off my PC. Something so simple shouldn't be eating resources the way it does. It's like you have absolutely no clue how many systems are running in Prison Architect's background. It's supposed to eat resour...

Would love to see more usage of hotkeys in the game, I'm used to them after playing games like Dwarf Fortress.

Re: Hot Water = Unplayable Prison

I agree. I have never complained about new features in any game before, but once i loaded up my prison in update 5, I realized i have to rebuild it all to fit the boilers because of their limited range. At least give us the hot water big pipe option for unlimited range, expensive is OK. Agree. Hot ...
