Re: Worst prisoners you ever had to deal with?
Mine was an ostensibly average guy called Ian Moon. He wasn't legendary, he wasn't even particularly troublesome, or so I thought, and that's why I'm submitting him here as the worst. I manually pore through my .prison file from time to time to find exactly who's deserving of SuperMax, other than th...

This needs sorting in general as it's not the way things work. People don't just abandon their posts before their cover is there.

Re: [Suggestion] Giving gardeners value
Remember they are needed to plant trees in the forest. OK, that's true. There's also an environment 'need' now apparently although I've yet to see it cause problems despite me having a derelict outdoors. Edit: I just have to say that I never liked the whole forestry addition in the first place. It ...

[Suggestion] Giving gardeners value
Now, gardeners wouldn't have been high on my list of staff to code when creating a prison game as I don't think they're that valuable for the smooth running of a prison, but seeing as they're already in game they should be a little more worth hiring. Starting out simply, adding a desire to inmates f...

Re: Lock Timer
Use the remote controlled doors. They cannot be opened by keys, only an electronic signal.
PC inmates should really be behind these doors anyway as other inmates could always steal jail keys in a riot and let themselves past jail/solitary doors to kill them.

Re: [Suggestion] Solve an unsolved murder
I would have thought the fact that it's been deliberately added to the game as an "unsolved murder" is a pretty big give-away that IV are planning on implementing solutions.

Re: Auto placing of lights
I hate the autoplacing of lights almost as much as I hate the plot dimensions being evenly divisible by two.

I actually voted yes, but after reading cde's comment I wonder exactly why I did so. Very convincing sir.

Re: Improve performance?
I've found that dropping the sound sample rate down to 11KHz keeps things smooth. Although the game does intially sound a little rough after that, you get used to it.

Re: Escape key not working
Go into your registry and locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout Right click the 'folder' and export it. This essentially creates a backup of the key, so you can do the following without fear: In the right panel, right click the whitespace and click New -> Binary ...

Re: Maximum Security Prisoners must be Unlocked
I'm kinda with the OP on this one. Your prison should meet specific requirements and also have a proven track record above a certain standard to house progressively more dangerous criminals. You should also receive higher payment per head. IIRC it's a flat £100 per head per day at the moment, regard...
